Discovery of Niki de Saint Phalle

Introduction of Niki de Saint Phalle (1930 – 2002)   

She was born in 1930. Her father was French and her mother was American.

Her real name is Catherine Marie-Agnès Fal de Saint Phalle. Nikki de Saint Phalle is her artist name.

She is famous for her tall and big doll sculptures, called “Les nanas”. She created a huge park with several of her sculptures in Italy to defend women rights: she was a feminist.

We learned that Niki de Saint Phalle liked shooting painting.
