SCHOOL COUNCIL

The School Council:

• votes on the school rules,

• adopts the school pedagogical project,

• is consulted on all matters relating to school life: trips, class-specific activities, handicapped pupils, after school activities, lunch, security of children…

• gives its opinion for the organization of school schedule and school calendar.

Parents are invited to get in touch all year long with their class representatives for questions and comments.

Election of parent representatives to the School Council:

Any parent can be a candidate (one per family). The teachers ask in the class meeting held at the start of the year for interested parents to nominate themselves as a candidate. The election takes place usually in late September.
