In this exercise the students had to solve the problem of measuring the size of their ears. The problem was that they themselves did not know the size of their ears. Hence, they needed an outside judge to order them.
At the beginning of the year, the students had to present themselves. How, was up to them. One students decided to apply his comic-writing skills.

For me, it is important that the students use their own words and that they produce as much text (oral or written) as possible. They make more mistakes, and the occasional French word might find its way into the text, but it will help them to learn faster. This student retold a poem about a boy and his dressing habits. In the next step, she visualized the story.
